Cu - Copper

Coper is so versitile!
The blue patina is created by exposing the clear copper to ammonia and oxygen, in a closed chamber, over a long period of time. This process takes approximately 7 days (and often takes longer, depending on how things turned out. If I don't like what I see, then sometimes it gets washed in lemon juice and then goes back into the ammonia treatment for another 7 or so days.

The brownish-purple patina is created by briefly dipping the copper in a liver of sulfur solution. The longer it sits, the darker the patina.
